Information über LSA-Technik / information about LSA technique

Die Schneid-Klemm-Technik wird seit Anfang der 1970er Jahre in der Kommunikationstechnik eingesetzt. Die einzelne Ader wird inklusive Isolierung auf eine sogenannte

Schneidklemme gepresst. Durch das spezielle Anlegewerkzeug wird das überschüssige Adernende gekürzt und die Isolierung der Ader aufgeschnitten. So entsteht eine

elektrisch leitfähige Verbindung. Da diese Schneid-Klemm-Technik ohne Löten, Schrauben und Abisolieren funktioniert, wird sie auch als LSA-Technik bezeichnet.

The insulation displacement technique is used in communication technology since the beginning of the 1970ies. The single core including isolation is crimped to a so-

called insolation displacement. The redundant core end is cut by a special insertion tool and the isolation is opened. So an electrical, conductive connection is established.

As this insulation displacement technique works without any soldering (German word: Löten), screwing (German: Schrauben) and stripping (German: Abisolieren), it is

also called LSA technique.
